How to use MyPass.nsu.edu (password reset website)

What is MyPass?

MyPass is an NSU website where you can change and reset your NSU password.

I need to change, reset my password or my password is expired.

Password Reset

• Setup your Challenge Questions
• Use the Password Reset Tool

Remember passwords must be a combination of upper and lowercase letters, numbers and special characters and be no less than eight(8) characters.

Expired Password

When your password is expired you can log in to mypass.nsu.edu/private normally with your SpartanID,(your email address minus the @nsu.edu. Ex. sjobs@nsu.edu, your login would be sjobs).

If you do not know your SpartanID yet:
- Student: https://webapps.nsu.edu/idlookup/
- Faculty / Staff: Contact your supervisor

As you log in, you will be prompted to reset your password.

Change my Password​

• Use the MyPass password reset site
• If you have not already done so, please setup your security questions before changing or resetting your password.
  • 

• Click Change Password.
  • 
• Enter our NSU username and password.
  • 
• You can generate a password or enter your own.
  • 
• After you have entered and confirmed your password, click Change Password.
• The change will happen immediately.
