Guardian Access Requests


Why would I need this service?

This service is to request access to the Guardian application or change current access. Access Levels and User Roles include:

  • Super Admin - System Administrators for the Guardian Platform.
  • Incident Type Admin - Incident Type Administrators are specific to Incident Types.
  • Incident Type Hearing Officer - Hearing Officers (also known as investigators) are specific to Incident Types.
  • View Only - A user with View Only access for a particular Incident Type.
  • Configuration Manager - The Configuration Manager will be able to manage any and all system configurations within Guardian
  • Student Staff - Student Staff users are students of the NSU who have been granted access to aid in case management.
  • Staff - Non-student employees of NSU.

What happens after I submit the request?

You will receive an email confirming that you entered the request. OIT will follow up with you once your request has been received. If you have any other questions or concerns, please go to the Client Portal and sign in to check the status of your ticket(s) or contact Client Services at 757-823-8678 or via email with a phone number we can reach you concerning this ticket request.
