How to Access the Video
Step 1: Open the Video
- Click the Request Compensation Change video link below.
- You will be redirected to the TDX platform.
Step 2: Log in to TDX
- If prompted, log in with your NSU credentials.
- Once authenticated, the video will load automatically.
What the Video Demonstrates
The video provides a guided demonstration of the following manager actions in Workday:
Initiating the Request
- Starting from the Request Compensation Change task
- Entering the effective date
- Selecting an employee from My Team (direct reports only)
Selecting a Reason
- Reviewing available compensation change reasons

- Managers can only request compensation changes for their direct reports.
- Approval workflows vary based on organizational configuration.
- Compensation comparisons are view-only and used for decision support.
- Changes do not take effect until all required approvals are completed.
- If you do not see the Request Compensation Change task, your role may not have access.
