Why would I need this service?
This service is exclusively for requesting a Personnel Control Number (PCN) for a grant-funded position. It should only be used for positions funded by Title III, Grants/Externally Funded Programs, or the NSU Foundation. Requests for positions funded through any other funding source should not be submitted through this service.
A Personnel Control Number (PCN) is required before a Request for Hire can be submitted for most grant-funded positions. Use this service to request a new PCN and submit all required supporting documentation for review by the Office of Planning and Budget.
To begin your request, select the Request PCN link on the right side of the page and complete the online Personnel Control Number Request Form.

Who can request this service?
What happens after I submit the request?
After submitting your request, you will receive an email confirming it was received.
The Office of Planning and Budget will review your request and any supporting documentation. If additional information is needed, they will contact you. Once the review is complete, your request will proceed through the appropriate approval process.
You can monitor the status of your request at any time by signing in to the Client Portal.
