Human Resources Grant-Funded Personnel Action Requests

This category contains Human Resources request forms used exclusively for grant-funded positions supported by Title III, Grants/Externally Funded Programs, or the NSU Foundation. These services allow departments to request personnel actions for grant-funded positions, including obtaining a Personnel Control Number (PCN), recruiting for a position, and hiring new or returning employees. Each request must include the required supporting documentation and any applicable grant-specific approvals before it can be processed.

HR-1 Request for Recruitment (Grant-Funded Positions Only)

This service is used to request recruitment for grant-funded positions only. It applies exclusively to positions funded by Title III, Grants/Externally Funded Programs, or the NSU Foundation. Requests must include a complete recruitment package, including the Employee Work Profile (EWP), job duties, organizational chart, justification for the request, and any required supporting documentation.

Personnel Control Number (PCN) Request (Grant-Funded Positions Only)

This service is used to request a Personnel Control Number (PCN) for a new grant-funded full-time position only. It applies exclusively to positions funded by Title III, Grants/Externally Funded Programs, or the NSU Foundation. A PCN is required before submitting a Request for Hire for eligible grant-funded positions.

HR-1 Request for Hire (Grant-Funded Positions Only) Updated

This service is used to request the hire of an employee into a grant-funded position only. It applies exclusively to positions funded by Title III, Grants/Externally Funded Programs, or the NSU Foundation. Supported hiring actions include Original Appointment, Re-Hire, and Supplemental Compensation. All requests must include the required hiring documentation and any applicable grant-specific supporting documents.

HR1 Request for Hire (Work-Study Students Only)

This is the new automated HR1 form. This form is used to hire new Work-Study students and returning Work-Study students who are transferring to a different department.
